When it comes to youth growing in Christ, we believe that some things are taught while other things are caught – and one of the greatest ways for them to learn and develop in Christ is by serving in ministry. As a part of our Youth Ministry program, we provide a variety of serving opportunities where youth can use their gifts and talents to bless the Kingdom while being trained and discipled to become strong Christian leaders. Please note that youth who sign up to join a ministry must be able to carryout the duties of that ministry in order to serve on that ministry.
WORSHIP AND FINE ARTS
Youth Worship Team Singers
Description: Sing during Youth worship services and events to set an atmosphere of praise and worship and lead others to worship the Lord.
Open To: High School
Audition Required: Yes
Harvest Life Kidz Choir
Description: Sing to create an atmosphere of praise and worship during Youth worship services and events.
Open To: Age 3 – 5th grade (are automatically a part of the choir)
Audition Required: No
Youth Choir
Description: Sing to create an atmosphere of praise and worship during youth worship services and events.
Open To: Middle and High School (are automatically a part of the choir)
Audition Required: No
Youth Band
Description: Provide musical support for Youth worship services and events. Must play one of the following instruments – keyboard, organ, lead guitar bass, drums or horns (sax, trumpet, trombone).
Open To: Grades 2 – 12. High School Youth must be on the Youth Leadership Team.
Audition Required: Yes
Audition Details: Must be able to play by ear or read music at an intermediate level. Anyone auditioning on lead guitar, bass or horns must have their own instrument and bring it to the audition. A song will be provided for you to play at the audition.
Harvest Life Kidz N Motion
Description: Help to create an atmosphere of praise and worship during Youth worship services and events through the ministry of dance.
Open To: Age 3 to 5th grade
Audition Required: Yes
Youth Praise Dancers
Description: Help to create an atmosphere of praise and worship during Youth worship services and events through the ministry of dance.
Open To: Girls in Middle and High School
Audition Required: Yes
Harvest Life Kidz Mimes
Description: Convey a message of ministry through expressive and interpretive movements. Performs for designated Youth Sunday Services and events.
Open To: Age 3 to 5th grade

Youth Mimes
Description: Convey a message of ministry through expressive and interpretive movements. Performs for designated Youth Sunday Services and events.

EVENT SUPPORT TEAMS
Audio Ministry
Description: To provide audio support for worship services, events and recordings by operating sound equipment, managing audio mixes, collaborating with musicians and program managers for services and events to create a meaningful worship experience.
Open To: High School and Adults
Harvest Life Kidz Junior Assistant
Description: Support Children’s Church Teachers by assisting with lessons, class activities, etc.
Open To: Girls in Middle and High School – Members of this ministry are selected. Connect with the Youth Director if you are interested.
Food Services
Description: The Youth Food Services Team helps prepare and serve food for youth events, food sales in the foyer and more.
Open To: Youth in grades 6 – 12 are automatically a part of the Food Services Ministry and will be scheduled to serve for designated events.
Youth Freelance Videographer
Description: Youth Freelance Videographers use video cameras to capture recordings our youth worship services and events that will be used for ministry highlight videos, Youth Ministry promotions and more.
Open To: High School
Photography
Description: Youth photographers use their cameras to capture moments with pictures that visually tell a story of youth worship services and events for historical and marketing purposes.
Open To: High School
Requirements: Photographers must have their own camera. Interview required. Bring samples of your pictures to the interview.
Podium Mover
Description: Assist with the stage logistics and the moving the podium on and off stage during worship services.
Open To: Males in High School. Members of this ministry are selected. Connect with the Youth Director if you are interested.
Poster Design Ministry
Description: The Poster Design Ministry creates poster designs that lift up the youth ministry and Harvest Life Church for youth worship services and events.
Open To: Middle and High School. Youth will have opportunities at designated times to participate in creating posters.
Youth Program Managers
Description: Assist the Program Director with managing the operations and overall flow of the program for youth worship services and events.
Open To: High School. Members of this ministry are selected. Connect with the Youth Director if you are interested.
Setup, Logistics and Clean Up
The Setup, Logistics and Clean Up Team assists with setting up rooms and moving furniture for youth worship services and events and cleaning up before and after events. Youth in grades 6 – 12 are automatically a part of the Setup, Logistics and Clean Up Ministry and will be scheduled to serve for designated events.
Youth Fundraising
Description: The Youth Fundraising Team works together to generate ideas and creative concepts to help raise money for our Youth Ministry.
Open To: High School – are automatically a part of the Youth Fundraising Ministry and will be scheduled to serve for designated events.
YOUTH GREETERS
Ushers
Description: Help to manage the flow of seating for the youth worship services and events.
Open To: High School youth are automatically a part of the Ushers Ministry and will be scheduled to serve for designated events.
Welcome Team
Description: Help to create a warm and hospitable environment for youth events by welcoming and greeting those in attendance.
Open To: High School and Adults (ages 18 – 54) – Members of this ministry are selected. Connect with your Life Group Pastors if you are interested.
HARVEST LIFE STUDIOS
Harvest Life Studios
Description: Assist with producing high level creative productions and content for the church including films, documentaries, commercials, music videos and more to reach, teach, disciple, inspire, inform and minister for Jesus Christ.
Open To: High School
YOUTH OUTREACH
Evangelism
Description: The Youth Evangelism Ministry invites individuals and families in our local communities to attend Harvest Life Church and our Youth Events by distributing door hangers and flyers.
Open To: High School and Adults. Volunteers may sign up to participate when the event is opened and announced in church.
Community Outreach
Description: Share the love of God by helping to meet needs and make an impact in our community through various outreach initiatives.
Open To: High School and Adults. Volunteers may sign up to participate when the event is opened and announced in church.
Senior Facility Outreach
Description: Visit local senior facilities to share the love of God by providing encouragement, doing crafts and activities with residents and more. This ministry serves at designated events throughout the year that are announced in church.
