Wearing ceremonial attire is an act of reverence that symbolizes the spiritual significance of the service or event, i.e., Communion, Baptism, Ordination and Consecration, as well as the unity of Harvest Life Leaders in our dedication to God and our church’s mission and vision.

The following attire is worn for the entire service day.

Parent / Child Dedication Service 

Only those leaders serving on the Parent/Child Dedication staff will wear ceremonial attire for the service.

Funeral Service 

Only those leaders participating in the service or assigned as service support staff, will wear ceremonial attire.

Leadership Sunday 

On Leadership Sunday, Leaders should wear ceremonial attire the entire day (On-Trial will wear same attire as those designated as “serving on… staff”). Prior to the start of the 11:30 am service, Leaders will add the following designated sash colors according to their leadership level.

· Associate Pastors – Blue Sash

· Ministers – Orange Sash

· Senior Deacons – Yellow Sash

· Junior Deacons – White Sash

· On-trial – No Sash
