REGISTRATION
• $10 for 6th – 12th grade
• $6 for age 2 – 5th grade

TRANSPORTATION
• $5.00 for roundtrip transportation on the shuttle bus
• Shuttle bus open to everyone (Liability Form must be completed)
• Deadline to pay for the bus is Sunday, October 8th

ATTIRE
Youth, Youth Workers and Parents:
• Orange Harvest T-shirt or a Plain Orange T-shirt
• Blue Jeans or Skirts
• No leggings or sleeveless attire

YOUTH DAY ITINERARY

5:45 AM Arrival and Check-in at Harvest (Room 200)

6:15 AM Depart from Harvest

8:30 AM Arrive at Charlottesville Church of Christ, Charlottesville, VA

8:45 AM Youth Leaders Meeting

9:00 AM Prayer & Day Overview

9:15 AM Sessions
• Parent and Youth Panel Discussion (Parents and Youth 6th grade and up)
• Children’s Paint Party (Age 2 – 5th Grade)

10:15 AM Youth Choir Rehearsal

11:15 AM Lunch (catered Chick-fil-A lunch boxes) will be available for purchase onsite for $6.00. You may also bring a bag lunch.

12:15 PM Service Preparation
• Usher and Greeter Training
• Poster Creation (Represent your church)
• Praise and Worship Team Rehearsal
• Dance Rehearsal
• Youth Decorations Team

1:00 PM Youth Service

3:00 PM Departure from Charlottesville Church of Christ, Charlottesville, VA

3:30 PM Charlottesville Fashion Square Mall
• Bathroom & Dinner Break (You may bring your own dinner or money to purchase your meal)

4:30 PM Bus Departs Mall Area

6:30 PM Arrive back at Harvest

HOW CAN YOUR YOUTH PARTICIPATE?

 

YOUTH SERVICE TEAMS
Your youth can serve as and assist in the following areas:
• Ushers (2nd – 12th Grade)
• Greeters (2nd – 12th Grade)
• Praise and Worship Team
• Praise and Worship Dancers (Age 2 – 12th Grade)
• Youth Decorations Team (Kindergarten – 12th Grade)

YOUTH CHOIR
Youth age 2 and up may sing with the VA State Choir. Rehearsals will be held on Wednesday, October 11th at 7:30 pm.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

TRAVEL KIT
Below are suggested items to bring for the day:
• Toothbrush
• Toothpaste
• Deodorant
• Mints
• Wipes
• Personal Hygiene Products
• Money (suggest $20 per person for lunch/dinner)

SNACK DONATIONS
We are asking all parents to donate one or more of the following items:
• 2 Boxes – Capri Sun
• 2 Boxes – Nutri-grain Bars
• 2 Boxes – Rice Krispy Treats
• 1 Bag – Assorted Chips
• 1 Carton – 8 ounce Bottle Water (24 count or more)

Please drop off your donations in the Multipurpose Center by Wednesday, October 11th.
