What does it mean to be saved?
When we say that we are “saved”, we are saying that we have accepted Jesus Christ into our hearts. The Bible says “if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).
Salvation comes when you confess through prayer that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. If you are ready to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, say the prayer of salvation below:
Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I repent and turn from my sins and I ask for your forgiveness.
I invite you to come into my heart and life. Wash me clean, and fill me with your Holy Spirit and I will trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior.
Thank you, Lord Jesus I am born again, I am forgiven, I am saved, and I am on my way to heaven.
Jesus, give me passion for the lost, a hunger for the things of God and a holy boldness to reach someone else for You.
Jesus Christ died on the Cross so we might have eternal life.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.” – Romans 10:9-11, KJV
Now that you have prayed the Prayer of Salvation, it is a day of new beginnings in your life, so don’t look back! Take confidence in knowing that God has forgiven you, forgotten your past mistakes and has granted you full access to His everlasting love and abundant life. Now isn’t that great news?
