I believe that God is using this time to strengthen, empower and speak to the Harvest Life Leadership. Regardless of the season or circumstances we face, as leaders, it is important that we continue to grow in our relationship with God and remain in position to be a Spiritual Force.
In addition to meeting us online for our weekly online services and events, Pastor Deborah and I have outlined several key things we want all Leaders of Harvest Life to do to help maintain your spiritual growth and equip you to make a Kingdom impact in your homes and community.

LEADERSHIP MY GIFT TO JESUS GIVING DAY ON ZOOM
Saturday, December 19th | 1:00 pm
God has given our Senior Pastors a great vision for Harvest Life. As leaders, we are front line supporters of the building project. On Saturday, December 19th at 1:00 pm, we are coming to give towards the construction of our new worship center during our Leadership My Gift To Jesus Giving Day on Zoom. Zoom information will be provided to leaders.
In support of helping to further the construction of our worship center, all leaders are asked to give the following amounts.
• On-Trial – $750 or more
• Junior Deacon – $800 or more
• Senior Deacon – $850 or more
• Ministers and Ministers-In-Training – $1,000 or more
1. Complete the Leadership Profile Update Form
This form will help to ensure that we have accurate information and will help us provide ministry information that is relevant to you and your family.
2. Pray Every Morning
As leaders, it is so important that we start our day with God. Begin each morning by spending time in prayer to worship, lift up your requests and ask God to guide you throughout the day.
In addition, each week a leadership level will lead in praying for the many members and guests who post their prayer requests to the Prayer Wall. Each day of your week, visit the Prayer Wall and lift up the requests. After you’ve prayed for a request, please click “I Prayed for This” button. An email will be sent to the person who posted the prayer to let them know someone prayed for them! Please see the Prayer Schedule below:
- Week 1: On-Trial, Sunday, November 29th – Saturday, December 5th
- Week 2: Junior Deacons, Sunday, December 6th – Saturday, December 12th
- Week 3: Senior Deacons, Sunday, December 13th – Saturday, December 19th
- Week 4: Ministers, Sunday, December 20th – Saturday, December 26th
3. Weekly Prayer Focus
Each week we will have a special focus area to pray for as leaders. Our focus this week: Pray that we press in in Christ.
4. Memorize Scriptures Weekly
To impact the world like Christ, we need to have the mind of Christ! Each week we are going to renew our minds with the Word of God by memorizing scripture. This week’s memorization scripture is Philippians 3:13-14.
13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
5. Study Your Sunday School Lesson
As leaders, it is important that we continue to grow in our understanding and knowledge of God’s Word. Study this week’s Sunday School lesson, “Faithful People Thank God for Jesus” and meet us online at 8:00 am for World Sunday School!
6. Reaching People for Jesus Christ
We’re called to be an extension of Jesus’ mission in the earth. Think about ways you can show God’s love and minister to others during this time. You may call a family member to encourage and pray with them, buy groceries for a neighbor in need or come up with other ways to minister to others.
As leaders, we have to stay active and moving! Take some time during the week, at least three or four days if possible, to exercise. You can work out, go for a nice walk, do some stretches – we want to remain healthy so that we can carry out the ministry God has called us to do as His leaders!
