No matter what the world says, or how they try to redefine what God has put in place, we believe in the power of Christian family! Jump Start Family Legacy Week is a great opportunity for families to connect and grow together in Christian-based activities. You can start leading your family in a relationship with God and in Christian principles so much so that there is a drive to continue it throughout their lives and give it to the next generation.

We have designed a week full of easy-to-do activities that will help jump-start your Christian legacy with your family members, including signing up for our upcoming Baptism Service on Sunday, May 1st. Click here to sign up today!

Join us for these activities below as we jump-start our Christian family legacy!

THANKFUL THURSDAY

With the busyness of life, juggling multiple schedules in the household and more, we can sometimes take for granted how blessed we are for the gift of family. On this Thankful Thursday, we want to show our appreciation for God for the blessing of our loved ones. Take time to build a spiritual legacy in your household by praying with your family and sharing why you are grateful for God and one another.

Teach/train your children how to:
P – praise the Lord for all He has done, is doing and will do
R – repent; ask for forgiveness
A – ask, make your requests known
Y – yield, surrender your ways to God

TODAY’S ACTIVITY: Pray together with your family. Examples are saying grace, prayers to start your day, and prayers before bed.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Joshua 1:8 – This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

TODAY’S SOCIAL MEDIA POST: Post pictures/videos on Social Media of your family praying. Use the hashtag, #HarvestLifeThankful
