GOLF CLASSIC FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: When is the deadline to register for the Golf Classic?
A: The deadline to register online is Sunday, August 20, 2023. However, on-site registration will be available at the Old Hickory Golf Club on the Monday, August 28th beginning at 7:00 am as spaces are available. (Forms of payment taken on-site: cash and credit card only. No checks accepted.)
Q: Can I participate in the Golf Classic if I don’t have any additional golfers to play on my team?
A. Yes. If you register as a single golfer or as a partial team, you will be paired with other golfers of varying skill levels to make up teams of four to compete in the tournament.
Q: Can I participate in the Golf Classic if I don’t have any golf clubs?
A: Each golfer must have their golf clubs to participate in the Golf Classic. Old Hickory Golf Club has clubs available for rent for $50 per set.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Golfers should wear a shirt with sleeves and collar, shorts or pants (no denim) and shoes comfortable for walking (golf shoes recommended).
Q: Can children attend the Golf Classic?
A: Children are not permitted to attend the Golf Classic. The event is open to men and women ages 16 and above.
