As believers and as members of Harvest Life Church, we give in our tithing and offering.  As we give these tithes and offerings, we show God that we love Him, obey Him and thank Him.

In the bible, God has commanded His people to give one-tenth of all they earn back to Him. This commandment is still in effect today. Our members give one-tenth of their income back to God through the Church. These funds are then used to build up the Church and to further God’s work throughout the world.

Additionally, the Lord commands His people to tithe, regardless of their current economic circumstances. If we express our faith to God in this way, He promises to greatly bless us (see Malachi 3:10).

Note:  Tithing is paid on the honor system. No one asks to see income statements or pay slips.

What Is Tithing?

The word tithe means “a tenth”. Tithing is one-tenth of your increase or income to be used for the work of the Lord.

What is an Offering?

An offering is that which is freely given to the church for the work of the Lord. But, offerings are far more than simply giving an amount on Sunday. Apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 that whoever sows sparingly will reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will reap generously.

God wants His will accomplished on earth, and he chooses to invite us to be a part of it.  Your generosity is positively changing lives in our church, community, and around the world so that others can experience the life change that you’ve experienced.
