#Finish Strong
God has brought you through 2020 – your set up year – to get you ready for your next level assignment in 2021 and beyond. As you go through December, it is important to be focused and intentional because God is using these last weeks of 2020 to prepare you for GREATER! We have provided a simple schedule to keep you on track and help you FINISH STRONG!
December 2020 – Preparing for Greater – #FinishStrong
1. Finish Strong Morning Prayer (Every Day)
Prayer changes things! As we prepare for what God is about to do in 2021, we need to stay at the feet of Jesus in prayer. God will transform your life and make you ready for your assignment but it is going to take daily meditation and devotion to Him.
“…The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much.” James 5:16
HOW TO PRAY
Overall, look at God as your Father. Talk to Him and just share your heart. Here is a pattern you can follow to help you as you pray. It’s easy to remember – the acronym is P-R-A-Y!
1. P – PRAISE
Start your time of prayer with praise – we praise God for who He is and for what He has done!
2. R – REPENT
Repent of sins you have committed and of God’s commands you have neglected!
3. A – ASK
Ask for the needs of others – and ask for your needs.
4. Y – YIELD
Yield your will to God’s Will. Yield your agenda to God’s agenda for you.
5. After prayer, believe and trust God…and walk in your victory!
2. Finish Strong Daily Scripture (Every Day)
Direction from the Word of God is vital for success. Reading and meditating on the scriptures daily will give encouragement and revelation concerning who you are to be and how you are to operate in 2021. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17)! We have provided daily scriptures to help you FINISH STRONG!
“Give us this day our daily bread.” Matthew 6:11
3. Attend all Services in December to “Finish Strong”
Every service in December will bring something to your life for 2021! It is essential not to miss the “Rhema” (an experience tailored to your situation) that God will be providing through worship, virtual fellowship and the Word of God!
4. Eat Healthier
Your body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19). Healthy eating means eating a variety of foods that give you the nutrients you need to maintain your health, feel good, and have energy. These nutrients, along with drinking water, will prepare you to be the greater version of yourself for 2021.
5. Exercise
Keep it moving! Running, walking or some form of vigorous movement is important for your mind, body, soul and spirit. Let’s Finish Strong!
