A Woman of Purpose

“Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given in Christ Jesus before the world began.” 2 Timothy 1:8-9

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”Philippians 1:6

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”Romans 8:28

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.”Ecclesiastes 3:1

As a daughter of God, you are expected to achieve great things. Don’t feel overwhelmed or pressured! You have been specially designed and equipped. There is a purpose for your life. God, our Father, has laid out success plans for every anointed woman of God. In fact, the Lord assures us of this very thing in Jeremiah 29:11, saying, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

Your time in spiritual meditation and prayer is not just for your personal spiritual edification. It’s a part of your spiritual equipping and training for the mission ahead. Don’t get me wrong, relationship building with God is vital for your personal disposition; however, God is going to use you as you are strengthened in Him.

Out of your relationship with God, developed through spiritual fellowship in the Inner Courts, will come anointed ministry and service at different levels.

The level of your calling and outreach will depend, to a degree, on your level of “in-reach” around the throne of God. Since real ministry does not happen without God’s involvement, it is necessary to ensure that you receive an impartation from God while around the throne.

It is important for you to know that God is continually trying to get you into a posture where you can start living out your purpose.

That is the reason why you could not die — no matter what crazy things you did. You ran with the wrong people and participated in some wild activities — not to mention car accidents and other mishaps…but God kept you! This is what God spoke over your life:

“You shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord!”Psalm 118:17

As you spend time in the Inner Courts, just know that God is preparing you for something that you have not yet seen. This is the reason why we must continue in prayer. We need all the “God time” that we can get.

Your time is here! Your purpose is at hand! Your season has begun! Stay in His courts to ensure your anointed success!

“Limits exist only in the souls of those who do not dream.”— Unknown

“Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has teached in life…as by the obstacles that he has overcome while trying to succeed.” — Booker T. Washington

Starting today, what are some things that you need to do (or stop doing) in order to get into a better posture and live out your purpose?

Inner Courts Prayer

Dear Lord,

I thank you for making me a woman of purpose. You planned this assignment before I was born. I know that you will continue to equip me with what I need to fulfill my mission. There are people around me that I will impact. Help me, Lord, to fulfill this calling.

I thank you also for the privilege to work for your Kingdom. Use me in a powerful way that I may affect change in this very challenging spiritual environment. I love you Lord because you have certified and validated me with purpose.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.
