Our New Worship Center

God has truly brought us a mighty long way from the halls of Potomac High School! We started our church in January of 1995 with 3 members (Bishop Lyle Dukes, Pastor Deborah Dukes and their daughter Brittany), very little money…and a great big vision – trusting and believing God for His provision. Our first services were held in a small classroom and as the church grew, we moved into the auditorium…but we knew we wouldn’t be there forever.

In September of 2001, God blessed us to move into our current facility – which we outgrew as soon as the doors opened! But we weren’t dismayed – we have always known that God hasn’t called us to be comfortable! Our need for more classrooms, offices and even parking spaces spurred us on to look for the “greater” that God has in store for Harvest Life.
We started our current building project and it is nothing short of amazing to see how God is blessing us as we continue to build! Our church family, partners and friends of the ministry are so faithful – we’re working and giving together to bring the vision of our new worship center into reality.

In just a few months, we will be cutting the ribbon to our new state-of-the-art, 205,000 square foot new worship center, which features a 4,000-seat sanctuary, large parking lots, a chapel, a gymnasium, a food court, a children’s area, classrooms, offices and so much more.

We believe that the magnitude of this vision stretches far beyond what our natural eyes can see. Our new edifice will allow us to launch new ministry programs that will continue to transform the lives of individuals, families and children – in our community, region and around the world, while also serving as headquarters for our various community and world-wide outreaches. We thank God for His grace and we ask for your prayers as we move closer to seeing this great vision come to pass.

If you’d like to be a part of what God is doing and help us build our new facility, we invite you to donate to our New Worship Center.
