WHAT IS IT? The 21 Days of Consecration is comprised of a set of spiritual disciplines designed to help us grow in our relationship with God and become better in body, mind, soul and spirit. It includes a partial fast, daily prayer, scripture readings and exercise. “Partial” fast means that we will eliminate some common things from our daily diet, but will have generous options available. Starting on December 31st, we will provide a list of foods to eat and foods to avoid during the fast.

As we are fasting, we will become more aware of what we are putting into our bodies (God’s temple), as well as increase our ability to deny our flesh. As we deny our flesh, our spirit will become stronger! Add in our daily prayer and devotional reading, and look for a tremendous time of spiritual growth! Incorporating physical exercise will help move many of us closer to general good health and fitness.

This time of consecration will strengthen our relationship with God and with each other as a church family! We can all look forward to seeing what God does in our church and anticipate experiencing Him in a new way during this awesome time!

WHO’S DOING IT? All adult members of the Harvest Life Changers Church family (ages 18 and over) are invited to participate in the fast!

WHEN DOES IT START? Sunday, January 6, 2019 at midnight.

WHEN DOES IT END?     Sunday, January 27, 2019 at 6:00 am
On Sunday, January 27th, our 21 Days of Consecration culminates with a corporate prayer and the fast will officially end at 6:00 am (EST). We’re going to give God the praise for how He has blessed us during this special time of consecration – we know it will be a powerful time of connection with God and will give us a good start and a “God-start” to 2019!
